Ministry of the Word

The Lector Ministry provides trained lectors to proclaim the Word of God to the assembly in all the liturgical celebrations of the parish. Lectors may be male or female but must be Catholics who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. The lector's role is an honored one, requiring dignity in speech, dress and attitude as well as a dedication and love of the Word of God.  Training required.  For additional information contact Susan J.
