Q: What does it mean to have a Mass “offered” for someone?
An individual may ask a priest to offer a Mass for several reasons: for example, in thanksgiving, for the intentions of another person (such as on a birthday), or, as is most common, for the repose of the soul of someone who has died.
One must never forget the infinite graces that flow from the Sacrifice of the Mass which benefit one’s soul. Pope Leo XIII in his encyclical “Mirae caritatis” (1902) beautifully elaborated this point and emphasized the connection between the communion of saints with the Mass.

Please call, email or visit the office to reserve your Mass Intention. There is a customary donation of $10 for each Mass.

Lighting a memorial candle in the church is a special way to honor or remember a loved one - living or deceased.Please feel free to light your candle memorial at the front of the church. A donation is requested.

Flower donation requests are inserted several times in your monthly envelope during the year for Christmas, Easter and other occasions. This is a special way to remember loved ones.
