Funerals and Ministry

Members of the Funeral Ministry Team attend and assist with Funeral Masses at Good Samaritan Catholic Church. Through their presence and prayer, the volunteers assist families at the time of a funeral  by offering hospitality and showing support and concern to those who are grieving. Volunteers are needed to be present at the Funeral Liturgy. We serve as Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and Greeters as needed. This is an opportunity to show those who are grieving that Good Samaritan cares about them and prays with them.  Contact person Susan Shaw sjs3@ellijay.com; 706-276-1692.
